Tenzin Seldon

Tenzin Seldon is a climate leader and solutionist who has been on the frontlines of  migration, social enterprise, tech, and climate work for over a decade and half. Today Tenzin is Founder and Managing Partner of Pulse Fund. Pulse is an innovative climate fund, grounded in indigenous wisdom, and focused on investing big in the future of energy, infrastructure, mobility and food & agriculture. The team Tenzin leads has over 230 years experience in climate and investing. Previously, Tenzin co-founded The Plant, with the bold vision of creating a net-negative global home for climate solutions through the redevelopment and adaptive reuse of historic buildings.

Prior to The Plant, Tenzin served as senior advisor and board member of Earth's Call  Fund, in partnership with Lever for Change. She also worked at the United Nations Regional Office of Asia and the Pacific and the United Nations Environment Programme, where she monitored and recommended policy for the region's disaster relief efforts. Her work has been recognized in Forbes magazine’s “30 Under 30” list, as the social entrepreneur "Most Likely to Impact the Next Century”, and in OZY Magazine as one of their “5 Civil-Rights Leaders for a New Generation.”

She was honored at the United Nations as an Innovative Disruptor, named a Harry S.  Truman Scholar for her service work by the U.S. Congress, recognized as a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, and received the 21st Century Icon Award by the London Stock Exchange. Tenzin graduated with honors from Stanford University and went on to be the first Tibetan-American Rhodes Scholar at University of Oxford. Tenzin sits on the board of directors of the Human Centered AI Institute of Stanford University, of United Nations NGO Creative Visions, amongst others.
