Flicks4Change is a Creative Visions Fiscally Sponsored project.

Join Creative Visions for the inspiring Flicks4Change Film Festival on Sunday, 11/10 from 1 - 9pm at the Ronald Reagan Building Amphitheater. F4C is the festival that turns films into philanthropy by uniting difference makers with those that make a difference.

As a Creative Visions community member, get 50% off when you go to flicks4changedc19.eventbrite.com, click "Tickets," and enter promo code "creative50" (no spaces, all lowercase) at the top of the page. Your ticket is good for any and all parts of the event and the schedule is available on their ticket site. Supply limited so grab your seat before they're gone.

The event will include: two programs of impactful socially conscious short films; a concert by Leonard Coleman and Blunt - former lead singers of the Temptations, Platters, and Drifters; catered snacks and wine (for those of age); interactive exhibits by nonprofit partners, including one by Creative Visions; and an audience discussion with the filmmakers, and NPO and community leaders.

Check out these short sizzle videos to get a feel for the event:

In this presentation for National Geographic entitled Painted Bodies of Africa , photographers Carol Beckwith and Angela Fisher recall their many stories of anthropological travel as they document some of the oldest visual traditions and ceremonies in the African continent. Both Beckwith and Fisher, who have worked hand in hand for decades, talk extensively about their passion for photography, for the preservation of culture, and unexpected and uplifting human moments while on the road.
