Megha Kadakia

Megha Kadakia brings a unique blend of business experience and artistic vision to the world of independent filmmaking through her production company – Blue Velocity Pictures.  Kadakia has also produced MISS INDIA AMERICA, starring Tiya Sircar and Hannah Simone - currently on Netflix worldwide and RASPBERRY MAGIC, starring Alison Brie and Bella Thorne - distributed to STARZ.  Kadakia’s latest film THE TIGER HUNTER starring Danny Pudi, Jon Heder, Rizwan Manji and Kevin Pollak was released nationwide fall of 2017 through Shout Factory! and Regal Cinemas and is currently on VOD Platforms this winter 2018 with a set Netflix release date Spring of 2018 .  Kadakia has recently co-founded the global media entertainment brand for young girls, SUPER AMAZING PRINCESS HEROES and works with filmmakers and activists to create social impact media at Creative Visions. 

Kadakia has extensive experience in Marketing and PR for festivals and art events that span over several years starting from WorldFest ’95 at UCLA. Since then, she has helped produce over ten festivals including Artwallah, Diasporadics and the 2nd Annual Artivist Film Festival. 

Kadakia worked at the Disney|ABC, Deloitte Consulting and several film production organizations in the capacity of Business Development and Finance. She received an MBA from Columbia University, Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in BioChemistry and Specialization in Business from UCLA.
