CENTURIANS

CAUSE: Human Rights , Empowering Women & Girls, Youth Empowerment, Democracy & Freedom, Community Empowerment, Refugees & Migrants

CATEGORY: Film

PROJECT DIRECTOR: Eric Nazarian

Based on true stories and inspired by real events, CENTURIANS is a cinematic odyssey about three women: a wartime nurse, a sex slave on the run, and a war photographer. Each of these women survives, thrives, and creates agency in impossible circumstances between 1915 and 2015. These stories seek to explore the haunting reality of history repeating itself a century later and what lies in the power of the individual in times of extreme duress. CENTURIANS is an ode to caregivers, storytellers, and everyday survivors, who all find common humanity despite the many chaotic events in the world, then and now.
