CHICKENTOWN is a short film about Mitzi, a woman who hitches a ride with a man who may be the man who just murdered her sister. But the deeper story is one of sisterhood, the resiliency of women, justice, and the importance of mental health. CHICKENTOWN is a timeless story of women's role in society, the ways that societal structures and institutions do little to protect them, and what happens when they must take matters into their own hands to protect the ones they love.
