SHUKTARA is a documentary following David Earp and the story that ensued following his move from London to Kolkata, India, to help young people who were abandoned due to their physical and intellectual disabilities. This documentary is in advanced production, unfolding over the 20th anniversary year of Shuktara: a lifetime home for children with physical and intellectual disabilities in Kolkata. SHUKTARA sheds light on a complete cycle of possibility for the kids living in Shuktara, from their new beginning through the end of life.
