The Museum of Tolerance, Los Angeles

Our free professional development workshop at the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles is taking place on March 11 and 12, 2018.  ALL EXPENSES ARE PAID for participating California educators, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, workshop fees and meals. 

This engaging workshop, led by one of Rock Your World’s dynamic co-authors,  will feature access to the Museum’s inspiring exhibits as well as prominent speakers on human rights issues.  This hands-on workshop will also include ample opportunities for participants to develop customized approaches for incorporating relevant aspects of the Rock Your World curriculum into their subject area teaching including ELA, social studies, art, music, media literacy, and more.   Teachers who participate in this workshop will become eligible for 1 graduate extension credit through UCSD or  1 salary point credit through LAUSD.
